This blog has been around for six years. I began writing it when I retired after serving as a middle school principal in Massachusetts for 33 years. I began my career at an innovative school-The Pennsylvania Advancement School- in Philadelphia in 1967 and have been involved in school reform ever since. This is an extension of that involvement.
